My First Blog Entry!

Hello Friends and Family today is my first Blog entry, I have no idea what I am doing at this point but I will get better. So what's new with us ........let me catch you up. Jason's days off have changed now he has Sunday, Monday off instead of the whole weekend which is good and bad. At least now he can run errands during the week. He is doing well, he works his ass off at home and at work and I am just super lucky to be with such a driven man. I am lucky that after 16 years of marriage I am in such total love with him. Not that he can't drive me nuts sometimes, let's keep it real people!!

As for me work is going well for me this year there have been a few really crazy days but I enjoy it and you never know what will happen next which is fun. The people I work with are great and we are a good team.

Mikaela is doing well she moved out and is now roomates with Whitney her best friend and she like it. We miss her the house seems empty a bit without her here but I am proud of her independent spirit. She misses Brandon like crazy of course, he is still in Iraq fighting for our counrty so send you positive energy his way until he is back home safe to Mikaela.

Austin is 14 and huge for those of you who haven't seen the kid in a while he is 6 feet tall. He is doing pretty well, working hard on using his pecs book for speech and really getting the hang of sentence strips for his wants and needs. He is going to Green Acres this year and next year he will be starting El Diamante. Thank God for You Tube because he loves that so much right now, it is his current obsession, he loves to watch Disney video clips on it.

Jackson who is 12 now is doing ok. He is kind of going through a hard time right now where he is combative about a lot of things. He is never quiet that is for sure and scripts his movie lines all the time or makes me repeat the same phrases over and over, so we are working on that. But he is doing very well in his class at Valley Oak this year and is doing lots more academic work which is great.

Dakota is 9 and as gorgeous and cute as ever. He likes school this year he is going to Golden Oak. He is speaking a lot more and asking for things in sentences but still needs a prompt. The problem with him at the moment is he is really going through this wandering phase where runs off and wanders the neighborhood every chance he gets so we have to keep the house on lockdown.

Molly is doing wonderful in school. She is so bright but such a perfectionist. She loves her teacher her and Claire are in the same class. Molly is such a talented artist I should post a few pictures of her drawings she is so talented. She is really into clothes and fashion right now too. She says 2nd grade is her favorite grade so far. The girl is my little soft heart she is super sensitive and caring. She loves to do acrobatics at the moment too I am sending them back in gymnastics soon.

Claire loves school too. Claire is ms. social hour but gets great grades too. She is so outgoing though and a friend to everyone. She is really into singing and putting on shoes and very creative. She is really into doing her hair and nails and of course fashion also it's amazing to be their mother. They are 7 now. It's amazing to watch them grow and change every day. Having typical girls now has given me so much perspective into both sides of motherhood now. The side of having a child with special needs which is hard but has it's own rewards, you never take anything for granted and you are so proud at the smallest of victories. Then there is the flip side with the twins and how I try not to sweat the small stuff as much and never take it for granted that they can talk and follow directions and help out with their brothers. I am a lucky mother!

It seems like we have a lot going on in all of our lives right now but that's ok as long as I can keep up with the laundry in this house I really feel like I am accomplishing something!

My birthday is next Friday and I will be 34, I am lucky I have lived that long for sure!!! I am in a good place at 34 I mean I am happy and have a great family. I am like everyone else really I could stand to have more money and be skinnier but hey like they say we may not have it all together but together we have it all! Write more soon....
